Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine to what extent sexual assertiveness, acceptance of condom use and being in love, predict condom use in sexual activity of adolescents. Participants 539 adolescents reported having had sex, we used a questionnaire that measures the frequency of condom use during sex, and other variables of five factors with ordinal type questions measuring: sexual assertiveness, acceptance of condom use and sexual submission, infatuation, low risk perception and sexual. The results indicate significant differences in sexual practices of men and women regarding the frequency of condom use in sexual activity, the main predictors of condom use in men and women were the acceptance of condom use, infatuation and sexual assertiveness.
