Abstract

This paper presents a study conducted in Quito, Ecuador, about the inclusion of children and teenagers with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), in twenty-one regular schools that report currently having or having had asd students. A results analysis about the overall prevalence and gender prevalence of asd, the behaviors of asd children that produce classroom stress, teacher training, as well as counseling needs is conducted.
