Abstract

The main objective of this paper is to present the features of narrative analysis as a possible method of qualitative analysis in the field of psychosocial research and related areas. To do this, the document has been divided into four sections: firstly some issues related to the production of knowledge from the perspective of social constructionism, and specifically from the narrative approach, are discussed. Second, some conceptual approaches to the notion of narrative, later to raise the central premises and characteristics of narrative analysis research. In the fourth section some examples of narrative analysis are presented, using narratives produced as part of a psychosocial study conducted in the state of Morelos.
