In this issue of the Revista Intercontinetal de Psicología y Educación, as has been the case in its already long editorial history, specific problems are addressed, not focused on general policies or on cases of individual people. It is an intermediate level of social action regarding this problem: approaching psychological aspects from a theoretical, clinical, methodological and systematic perspective, with the purpose of knowing them, understanding them and providing tools and foundations to institutional instances and health professionals. field so that with them they can, in turn, address the general problem and the pertinent particular cases at their respective levels of operation. This is precisely the role of research in society: to obtain formal knowledge on specific problems for a better understanding.
