Abstract
The disappearance of people is a social phenomenon that has become global in recent decades. Faced with this event and the non-localization of the person, the relatives go through uncertainty as they are unaware of the situation in which their relative may be found. This research aims to analyze the context of the disappearance of adolescents in Mexico City.
The source of information are the files, which are protected by ethics; from them the initial psycho-victim profile of the disappearance of adolescents is obtained, in which it is observed that the absences are voluntary and motivated by discussion, courtship or family problems.
The usefulness of this study is aimed at orientation in intervention programs and the training of public servants related to mental health and contributes to decision-making in real time in the search for missing adolescents.
