Abstract

CGJ, a 34-year-old woman, had a basic level of education, and she was unemployed, and married with three children. The patient came to psychotherapy because she reported concerns related to the upcoming surgery she would undergo due to a newly diagnosed breast cancer. She also reported concern for the care of her children. She presented mild anxiety symptoms, low emotional quality of life, and reduced sexual function and pleasure.
