Abstract
This article provides an actual synthesis (approximately last 10 years) of different papers related to peer collaboration in pre-school and school children. For that purpose, we searched different investigations concerning to this topic in several databases that have full texts. Results were organized in two sections, according two classical methodological approaches from which the topic was studied. On the one hand, the influence of collaboration on individual cognitive development, where it was clarified specific conditions in which intellectual change occurs.
