Abstract

The objective of the study was to perform the construct validity in the Torrance Test of Creative Thinking, with a sample of 500 elementary school students, the TTCT was applied and two groups were formed. A program was developed with ten enrichment graphic creativity activities, at the end of the school year the TTCT test was applied again. The results were analyzed with a no parametric test of Wilcoxon and the anova test, significant increases in creativity intra group was observed (F = 7.07, p = .017) and between group (F = 16.82, p =.017). In the group with high creativity, positive changes in all indicators were observed, meanwhile in the low creativity group only two were improved. The results obtained, this confirms other investigators reports like Torrance (2008), and supports the construct validity of the test.
