Abstract

The program institutional of tutorials (PIT) emerged as tool for face high indexes of reproach, backwardness and abandon school in them schools of education higher in Mexico. Three years of formalization in a public University, was conducted this study with the aim of identifying the impact of the pit from the point of view of the students of Bachelor's degree in psychology cohort 2015. An opinion questionnaire applied to 40 students of both innings, selected through a sampling by convenience. The results indicated that 82% of those surveyed received in average three tutorials during the semester with duration of 60 minutes; 50% received group tutoring, and other individual or team. It is concluded that the impact of the PIT was positive and contributed positively to the academic performance of students.
