The aim of this study was to establish if there is a relationship between sociodemographic characteristics and subjective well-being (SWB) of college students of health sciences from Colombia. 120 students participated. A questionnaire with individual filling was applied integrating sociodemographic characteristics and measuring instruments of swb: Happiness, Affective balance, Satisfaction with life and Satisfaction with the life domains. Students describe themselves as happy and satisfied with life in general and most of the evaluated life domains, reporting the family as the most important domain for their swb. An inverse relationship between age and swb was demonstrated. Significant differences in levels of life satisfaction were found between academic programs.
