Abstract
The 2010 curriculum of the Licentiate of Surgeon of the UNAM looks for the development of professional competences; through a cross-sectional design through a survey, the perception of the actors (students, graduates and teachers) of the High Academic Requirement Program (PAEA) and a parallel sample of non-paea actors, on the development of competencies is described. The majority of students and graduates chose the answer quite a lot (third of four options) and most of the teachers chose the much (higher answer), to assess the level of competency development.
