Abstract
This article aims to present an overview of the study of compassionate mindfulness in our country. Some of the concepts that make up this psychological approach are explained, emphasizing the correct understanding of the precepts of the philosophy from which these techniques are derived in order not to degrade their study. Some of the areas of successful application of the techniques based on full attention in the area of health in the world and in our country are mentioned. Finally, the topic of therapist ethics in the area of mental health and the importance of adequate academic training for the practice of psychotherapy is addressed, and the cost benefit of these psychological interventions is considered.
