Abstract

The instrument for the Evaluation of Child Development (Rizzoli et al., 2013) has served as a tool for the early detection of neurodevelopmental problems in children under five years of age, while in Brazil the Psychoanalytic Research Protocol for Signs of Changes in Autism-PRISMA (Vieira Batistelli et al., 2018) is being developed, with the purpose of detect advances in terms of the development of children diagnosed and in non-psychoanalytic treatment.

The aim is to compare the results of the application of EDI and PRISMA on two separate occasions in a term of nine months in between each one, with a sample of four participating children with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and in treatment of a no psychoanalytic, environmental and sensory integration.

We are looking for a standardization of PRISMA for the population with an ASD diagnosis in Mexico, being a very initial effort in the understanding of the tool and the possibility of bringing it to our country.
