Abstract

Human development has been studied from different theoretical perspectives: psychosexual (Freud), psychosocial (Erikson), cognitive (Piaget) and so on. Every vision of psychological evolution expresses a relation between “I” and “you” (from different roles). From this perspective, a study for finding how children develop psychically from 0 to 1 year old from the dimension of otherness was done. Hereby, it was applied a longitudinal cut qualitative methodology in a baby during one year comparing this information in a transversal way with six different development ages children. Compilation of information was done following participants observation strategies by anecdotal registries. Then the inputs were analyzed following the constant comparison method. For the rest, results were divided in three key scales for otherness hermeneutic. Finally, they came to proposals for taking actions in the future, guided by the otherness as axis of development.
