Abstract
This paper presents the results of the application of an experiential workshop with person-centered approach of Carl Rogers as a systematic, measurable way to influence social skills and encourage college students learning to coexist. The workshop was implemented with 25 students in a pretest, post-test, using a workshop of 24 hours’ duration. The mixed analysis shows an increase in social skills of university students, corroborating that through experiential workshops are encouraged relationships that promote personal development and reflection on selfconcept, two key elements to achieve social competence and to facilitate appropriate coexistence with others.
