UIC Universidad Intercontinental, A.C.(hereinafter “the UIC”), domiciled at Avenida Insurgentes Sur 4303, Colonia Santa Úrsula Xitla, Delegación Tlalpan, Código Postal 14420, México, Ciudad de México, is responsible for the processing and protection of your personal data.
UIC will treat your personal identification, contact, physical location, affiliation, academic, labor, authentication and patrimonial data. Likewise, if applicable, sensitive personal data related to your state of physical health and your psychometric profile will be processed. These data will be derived from the documents and processes carried out for the admission process.
The personal data mentioned above will be processed for the following purposes necessary for our admission procedure: security, identification and communication with you; evaluate your personal and academic qualities to access our educational services; receive or request the corresponding payments and issue the respective tax receipts. All of these will form part of our database for the purpose of using them, including but not limited to, in accordance with the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties.
Your non-sensitive personal data may also be processed for the secondary purposes of marketing, advertising and dissemination of the offer of products, services and educational, cultural and sports events of our own and those of third parties; as well as to send or transfer them to third parties, inside and outside the national territory, by any means allowed by law to fulfill our social purposes.
The period of handling of your personal data will be indefinite from the date you provided it to us, and you may oppose the handling thereof at any time you deem appropriate, with the limitations of the Law; In the event that your opposition request is appropriate, the UIC will stop handling your personal data without any responsibility on our part.
By accepting and authorizing the processing of your personal data in the aforementioned terms, the UIC will be expressly empowered to transfer it to federal and local authorities, public and private organizations, various companies and/or individuals, inside and outside of Mexico, for the exercise of its functions; and authorizes us to be able to issue and deliver official documentation or not, to their relatives and/or legal representatives.
The exercise of the rights of access, rectification, cancellation, opposition, disclosure, limitation of use or revocation of consent to personal data, must be done by writing to the email contacto@uic.edu.mx along with: (i) signed copy of an official identification with photograph, (ii) power of attorney and identification of your representative, if presented by a representative, and (iii) if you exercise the right of Rectification documentary evidence of the requested changes.
