Abstract

This article aims to present theclinical instrument PRAD (Relational Profile for Adolescents) from its objec-tives and general characteristics, itstheoretical and clinical foundation,as well as its scope in psychotherapy with adolescents. The PRAD is a usefuland innovative clinical instrument supported by Relational Psychoanaly- sis. It includes 12 slides, the AnalysisFormat and a Manual that allowsa detailed study of the relationalcharacteristics to be carried out. It isaimed at adolescents from 12 to 22 years old, whose purpose is to identifythe needs, emotional experiences andrelationship patterns with their par-ents, contemporaries, friends, school-mates, partner and with themselves. Its main benefit is at the preventivelevel, so it is useful in the practice of psychotherapy, research and teaching,especially in the areas of adolescentdevelopment, projective techniquesand relational psychoanalysis.
